There was nothing enjoyable about this hotel, they gave our room away when we made reservations, so we got downgraded and spent the same price, room had no refridgerator even though it said it did, the air didn't work, ice machine was broken, employees were either not able to speak english or very rude, breakfast was a plate of hostess ...
Do not stay here! Our room was not ready, services didn't seem to care... no ventilation because heat/cooling system was out of order, smelled horrible...fake refrigerator...bedding had ---- on it,unclean....mattress sunk into box spring because, seriously, it wasn't a box spring...bugs... we spent a total of two hours here and checked ...
Yes, it is cheap, but I totally agree with the other people commented, do NOT do this to yourself! My ipod got stolen while I was away. I asked the staff for help and they totally ignored me. Especially the lady that work the night shift, she was very rude. Most of the staff were unfriendly, the room was crapy and dirty and the bathtube was broken. ...
The hotel room had mold in it. The next hotel room they gave us had half eaten food left in it from the previous guest that hadn't been cleaned out. The hotel cleaning staff drank our pop while we were in downtown Chicago...yes they STOLE our pop while cleaning my room which they only made the bed...because no vaccuming was done, the toilet ...
I repeat, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!!! Spend your money elsewhere, your sanity will thank you later. It does not matter if it is cheap, an establishment such as this should at least try to run a clean and respectable business. Cutout the excuses, this is one step away from a poorly run youth hostel. We paid approx $150 for 2 nights which for Chicago is fine by me. It's close to the airport and Cumberland El Train which was great. Let's be fair...it's an AIRPORT ...

Don't do this to yourself!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/08
It took 90 min. for the hotel shuttle to pick us up from O'Hare-3 miles away! Room numbers were written on the wallpaper next to the door in pencil. Black mold all over the bathroom. Holes in the lampshade....disgusting! Pool was filled with garbage-no water. I would never recommend this place!
Chicago O'Hare Garden Hotel... Sounded good to a girl coming from a small town in southern Illinois. The staff My mom booked this hotel for me and I did not know of the shuttle service. I thought the guy was just being nice taking me me back and forth to the train for a few days. He got really good tips from me lol. But he and the staff ...
