We enjoyed our 4 day stay and the location was perfect. We walked to nearly every part of the city we intended to visit. The concierge was VERY help with information and luggage storage. The beds were very comfortable although the room was small. Loved the view from the 23rd floor. The only thing more we could have asked for is a hot tub near the pool for aching legs and feet. Loved Chicago and the Doubletree.
the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. you are right near the michigan ave. i would stay here again.
Based on location and value I would definitly go back. It was a short walk to the Navy Pier and Mich Ave. The value is also unbeatable. The people at the front desk were nice.
I did have an issue with the cleaning staff. They knocked on our door despite the privacy lock and the Do Not Disturb sign ? not sure why. We went to the door and ...

Nice location -- easy to get to Michigan Ave. shopping and close to Navy Pier as well. Friendly staff and service is good.
We enjoy staying here as it's a little bit out of busiest area, but just a couple blocks away to get to shopping, etc.
Hotel has been remodeled since our last visit and rooms have been updated.
Every year i go up to chicago with my friends and this year was no different. We ended up staying at the chicago city centre, and although the hotel was under some light construction it was very nice and clean. The staff was very very nice and helpful. They have 2 resturants located in the hotel that was fairly priced and had good food. The only ...
This hotel is just a few blocks from the Mag Mile and Navy Pier. We could walk to most of the places we went to within the city. The room and lobby was clean, beautifully decorated and recently remodeled. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and attractions to visit. We used Priceline to book and got ...
First and foremost this hotel is a million times better looking then the pictures. I used priceline and bid $150, considering the regular rate is $199, but realized afterwards from reading other reviews that I probably could've started at $100. Nevertheless, we had an overall fabulous time. Room (again, relying on the reviews, I knew to ask ...
