The hotel has a great location, the staff was delightful, the rooms were nice and clean and the Melting Point music venue on the property was fantastic.

My husband and I came to Athens in early May 2008 for a house hunting prip and we needed a nice place to stay, close to the UGA and downtown. The hotel was what we thought it would be. They gave us a room in the first level saying all second-level rooms were occupied, but we didn't mind.

Basically, it was simply amazing. The staff is wonderful. They help you at the drop of a hat. The Hoyt House food was awesome...I definitely reccommend spending the extra dollar on that food.

Parking is terrible We were there in June and with weddings, special events and Inn guests (who did not receive reserved parking spaces) it was very chaotic. What a change of pace from your ordinary "hotel". This is a boutique inn with character and great amenities. Loved the Spa and dinning facility...architecturally speaking the conf center is incredible, spacious and great for the wedding party we attended. Music Venue is a great place as well...
