The resort itself was okay. Not wonderful, but adequate. The room I stayed in needed painting. There were red or rusty blotches all over the walls. Not being able to get to and enjoy the beach was very disappointing. I felt the Clarion Resort website should explain this before you make reservations. If it was pointed out somewhere, I missed it. I will not stay at this resort again.

We were terribly disappointed when we entered our room. The pictures on the web and on the Choice Hotel site gave the impression of a large, inviting room with a beautiful ocean front view.

This place is ok and I think that It could better, It's urgent to replace the carpet because it's really old. The location is great.

Jekyll/St. Simon offer a wide variety of experiences and price ranges in a beautiful beach setting. Not luxurious, though and no high-speed internet. This is on the reasonable family side of the experience. If you want more amenities and luxury go to St. Simons.

it was a great experince for me and my family. the rooms were very clean and very nice. The service was very friendly and very helpful.

MY WIFE AND I STAYED AT THIS HOTEL AND WE FEEL WE WERE TREATED POORLY. THE ROOM WAS FAIR AND THE ROOM CLEANING SERVICE WAS GOOD.

OUR COMPLAINTS ARE OUR CHECK IN WAS DELAID UNTIL AROUND SIX O'CLOCK PM AND THE DESK MANAGER HAD A BAD ATTITUDE. WE COULD NOT DECIDE IF SHE WAS JUST TIRED OR DIDN'T CARE FOR HER CUSTOMERS.

WE WILL NOT STAY AT THAT LOCATION ANY MORE.

WE VISIT THE ISLAND AT LEAST 3 TIMES A YEAR.

I read all of the previous reviews before we left and got scared by what I read. I called and cancelled the last leg of our stay, but we still had to stay one night. Don't ever stay here. I paid over $250 for a "suite". Found dead and alive cockroaches. The place was run down. The front door wouldn't shut without using your shoulder. The sliding door in the back wouldn't shut either. There is only beach in front in low tide for 1-2 hours a day. Else it is a huge rock barrier. Awful vacation.
