I am not sure who wrote the most recent review in 2008 but how wrong could they be. My husband I stayed there this weekend and there was not one problem with the hotel or the service that we got. The lounge was nice, food was very good and best of all the staff was wonderful. I just wanted to get the bad reviews corrected. What a nice place. Thank you for great hospitality!! What a disaster - this hotel apparently has been run down for years and no one cares. It is an embarrassment for the Hilton chain.

I was there for a conference and stayed in the Doubletree for 5 nights. My toilet leaked onto the floor, ran constantly, and the last 3 days I left the tank lid on the floor, because I had to flush by reaching in and pulling the flap manually. Both lamp and TV in room did not work, were replaced. Tab faucet dripped water. Shower too small - my elbow frequently hit the soap dish. Mats in the bathroom prevented door from opening and closing - door level needed to be adjusted. Restaurant needed upgrading badly - was dingy, dirty, dimmly lite and generally unappealing. Gym facility had good equipment, but tiny room made exercising unattractive.
The location was great and the food was good (but don't order roomservice b/c it is cold when delivered - and delivery is later than scheduled).
