My brother recently got married at the Wyndham Westshore in Tampa. The hotel itself was fine -- decent-sized rooms, a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, a location close to shopping and the city's downtown -- but the hotel catering staff leaves much to be desired (and that's putting it mildly).

Like: reasonable price, convenient location for downtown business and restaurants, easy self parking.
Dislike: the hotel is part of an office building complex, with the hotel being separated from the office building by a large glass atrium. My room faced the atrium and I could hear noises from the atrium. Also, the hotel had a large number of rowdy military guests. Wallpaper was noticeably peeling in the bath.
I got stuck in this hotel when my flight was delayed and I opted not to spend the night in the airport. It was either this hotel for $50, or a Super 8 for $45. yes! a/c unit old doesn't cool the room enough,room dusty and bathroom tiles dirty, pool unkept, staff no friendly specially manager uncaring. breakfast need more selection overprice. better hotel in the area (spring hill hotel) for less price.
This Hotel has windows that don't open, heat/airconditioners that are full of fungus and mold. We both got sick in one night in this place!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!
