This hotel is the most filthy hotel I've ever seen - we suffered through one night and checked out early the next day to find other accomodations. We were given dirty towels, the bathroom had paint peeling off the walls and there was mildew everywhere. The tub was filthy - we took a shower with our shoes on! Don't stay here to save a buck - ...

I stay at the sovereign hotel every chance I get! The manager there is the best looking ,smartest man I ever met. He takes care of all my needs each and every time I stay. All of the staff is very polite and it is a pet friendly hotel so I am able to bring my bunny "Petey" along for all my stays.

DON'T STAY HERE!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/06
THERE ARE ROACHES EVERYWHERE... DON'T STAY HERE. The service is terrible, they wouldn't do anything for me and we had to stay in a roach infested hotel. For somewhere that charges $100 per night, they make you feel like you owe them.

Terrible Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/06
Don't know where to start. First, BEWARE of hidden charges, fees that are not in their website. $30 valet parking, when u ask for options beside valet, they dont answer. They gave me a key to a room that already had a guest registered, and they did not even bother to apologize. The room was clean and the view is nice. I would not use it even ...
Beware of hidden charges. Required $10 per guest resort fee. Avoid $30 a day parking by parking at nearby meters. The accomodations themselves were very disappointing. The building and pool looked old with a lot of chipped paint and dirt. The elevator was a death trap. The room smelled like feet. And don't get me started on the ants!! ...

Love the palm trees
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/05
The drive from the airport to the hotel is very lovely, sooo many palm trees. The hotel is close to a very nice restaurant, the beach is right there, after dinner we walked in the sand and it was a balmy night. Our room was facing the street, so it was a bit noisy.
Having booked this hotel online, I was a bit dissappointed with the quality of the room in comparison to the reviews I had read beforehand. Our first room was not in proper order, having fresh paint on the walls, a paint bucket in the middle of the floor and wet carpet by the leaky window. We were however accomodated and placed in a different ...
My wife and I stayed here for a few relaxing days away from New York. The hotel was clean and was in a great location. The convenience to the boardwalk and the surrounding hotels was great. The pool was clean and the outdoor bartender was quick with the drinks. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.
Much better than what I thought it would be. Nice exterior, and the grounds match the exterior. Hotel is well taken care of, after renovations, has its own pool and beach. Was pleasantly suprised when I arrived to see the hotel. The rooms are average, not extremely large by any standards, but fine for just two people. About a 5-10 minute drive ...
