What I liked was the desk clerk was nice and friendly. The room did have a microwave and frig. The area around the pool was pretty.

We used to stay at this hotel back when it was in the Econolodge chain. La Quinta seems to have gone the extra mile in improving the fittings and grounds, and has added a free continental breakfast. It keeps the great location (a block from the beach, a half-block from a huge gym, which is free with the room).
