I loved everything except the rude and arrogant German manager who worked the front desk. He was short, discourteous, gossiped and made fun of guests, and was generally someone I wanted to avoid at all costs. I am a sophisticated 53 yo professional woman who has stayed in exotic resorts for both business and pleasure all over the US. I am sure he has cost this resort many repeat customers. JS

This place is not cheap but it is worth every penny. You really get the feeling that the employees care about you and want your stay to be a success.

We stayed at the Lago Mar in May of 2007 and had a wonderful time.

The one bedroom suite was everything we expected and the food and service were great. The poolside area was clean and the friendly staff attanded to our every need. The computer room allowed us to keep in touch away from home and to print our return flight boarding passes.
