THE FIRST TIME WE WENT TO LAGO MAR WE HAD ROACHES IN OUR ROOM AND THEY DIDN'T GET THERE TILL THE NEXT DAY TO TAKE CARE OF IT. This is NOT a Four Star Hotel at all. We were just there on June 29th to June 30th. We absolutely loved Lago Mar. We stayed over Christmas. There were alot of return families, some go back generations. While it was just the two of us we never felt overwhelmed by the young ones. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our suite was exceptional. Great location, very large, clean. Our bathroom was the size of some hotel rooms. We were very impressed, so much that we have already booked our reservation for next year.

The Lago Mar never let us down. We have been going there a couple of times a year for the past 9 years or so. The location is the best spot in Ft. Lauderdale. Secluded, but within a couple of minutes to the strip in Ft. Lauderdale.

the children have been allowed to run out of control both by their parents and the resort. as a many years repeat guest we are reconsidering our loyalty of staying at least 6 times per year. we could absolutely not relax the last few times we stayed at the resort and the service suffers dramatically.the so called wireless internet connection rarely works.

I loved the fact that the hotel in right on the beach, the pools, the rooms, and the restuarants.

I only dislike how small the parking spaces are.
