Bad experience

The outside of the hotel looks nice and has very nice landscaping. When we checked in , the lobby was pretty and we thought we were in okay shape. However, when we walked in our room we were overcome by a strange musty smell. We noticed dark stains on the ceiling in the bathroom ... we believe it was mold..... I figured that I would be ok choosing this hotel since it is a Holiday Inn. Well, it must have been one of the first Holiday Inns built. The overall appearance of the hotel is very dated and dirty. My first room had a toilet that didn't work, so they moved me, which was nice. But the new room had a very strange, musty smell to it. The bathroom ...

Waited 45 minutes for dinner because "we have a large party being served" However my dinner was "on the House". The food was cold.Vegetables cold and undercooked.

Best Holiday Inn at Which I've Stayed

Overall, a great experience. Room was clean & spacious, especially the bathroom! Restaurant was good, but service was a little iffy-had to practially beg for drink refills. Free Internet access in their business center. Room rates are a little pricey-but this property amenity-wise leans more to a Holiday Inn Select than a regular Holiday Inn. I was able to get a good rate here as part of a last-minute package.

a really great stay

i had to check in real early, which they did with a room change, to an upgrade room. Nice pools and lounge area. Free ride to the airport. A bit pricy, but it is an airport hotel. A pleasant surprise.

OK last option.

Clean room. Nearby motels offer good continental bfasts for comparable prices. U pay for breakfast here. Front desk staff has ranged from competent and friendly, to surly, to inattentive. One staff member talked on the phone for 30 seconds after I was standing in front of her at the counter. I assumed she was taking a reservation, but I started to pay attention as she was winding up her call---and it was a personal call.
