I have played all 4 courses many times and unless you have a discount the regular prices are way too expensive for the quality of the courses. I have played golf all over the country and these courses are average at best when compared "resort-like" courses. I loved the hotel, the room was fabulous and clean. The restaurant was a bit over priced and the service was just so-so, I guess thats what happens when the tip is already included. We stayed there 2 nights and we would have loved to golf, the course was empty but there were no discounts for guests.

What is there not to like about this hotel and resort. It is just minutes away from the beach and downtown Miami. However you do not feel like you are in such a big city since it is so exclusive. I booked this via the wonderful pictures and text on the Marriott website. The DORAL RESORT is NOT like a MARRIOTT resort. The staff is terrible. The rooms do infact smell and have terrible carpet. The fountains are dirty. The pictures I saw must have been taken 15 years ago when the resort was first completed. NEVER EVER AGAIN!

We stayed here for our honeymoon in 2003. The service was amazing & we were given an upgrade with an incredible price. Our room was overlooking the golf course where we sat in our robes & sipped coffee outside. AMAZING

The Dorsal Resort Hotel ahd always been a dream hotel of mine. Since I enjoy playing golf with my husband, it is my obvious choice for a great and relaxing time. Hope to win a trip at the Dorsal so I could have lots of memorable time with the man I love ;)
