Close walk to the orange and blue Metro lines at Rosslyn station. Great rooms: clean, spacious with a kitchen and a dressing room outside the bathroom. Good value.

If the attitude of the staff were half as nice as the hotel, it would have been a wonderful experience. I have never met so many rude and not helpful people.

Every hotel I have ever stayed at, the staff always greeted you and treated you like they were happy you chose them. Not this place.

They treat you like their doing you a favor by being in existence, and God forbid you need anything other than a cab.

Bldg very old - list of problems within first 2 weeks of stay: breakdown in communication between housekeeping and front desk mgr. The stay at the Virginian was awesome, the people at the front desk were nice and friendly. Housekeeping Dept. were nice and friendly too....Specially the manager in housekeeper was very nice and polite. If I were to be in Arlington again, definitely i would stay there again.

The list of beefs in two months? My netflix movies kept disappearing, there were roaches and ants in the rooms, peeling paint, the closet smelled of cat pee and they overcharge government employees. Not a good choice unless you can't find another place to take your pet.

We didn't get the room we booked a month before, the ATM didn't work and they wouldn't advance us money charged against the room, the air conditioner didn't work, the one they replaced it with was noisy, the pool closed too early to swim after a day of touring, no restaurants within convenient distance, unpleasant compared to all our other five hotels on vacation.
