Great hotel. staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. I am kind of OCD about things being clean and i felt fine staying in this hotel . That is saying alot

My spouse and I visited Wilmington over the weekend and on a Saturday all the shops were closed. We couldn't find much to do around the location of the hotel. Also, we asked the concierge upon check in for what to do around town and he referred us to the local magazine. We were hoping for a more hospitable answer. The hotel was very clean and nice stay over all.

I stay at this hotel last week. The Hotel is in a great location if you are coming to Wilmington. The hotel is under renovations (New Ownership). Hotel will be an upscale Doubletree hotel when completed (end of May is what staff is saying). The new rooms are the best in the City. Parking on site parking indoor pool, high speed internet.

The hotel was marginal at best. The room was comfortable, I too had an issue with the toilet that ran all night. The hotel does need some updating, however it was clean.

The one beef was the hotel bar. The bar staff was more intersted in watching TV than serving the customers. Since the downtown area in Wilmington is light at night, the hotel is the only escape. The employees need to be trained to focus on the customer...not the TV.

This hotel appears to be "in transition". The rooms need updating. The rugs in the hall look dirty. Overall it has a dingy feel to it. Breakfast was expensive and not good.
