The Westin Mission Hills promotes itself as a 4 star resort and in some ways lives up to the promotion. The grounds, golf course, and common areas are well laid out and attractive. However, while they promote their service, the facility and rooms clearly show signs of neglect.
On our first visit (a promotional tour for their time shares) we ...
We (my husband and 2 kids) went to spend a week-end at the Westin Mission Hills. Despite the very pleasant and confortable room, it has been a terrible experience. We arrived at 3:30pm and the room was not ready. They took our phone number and tols us they will call as soon as ready not knowing if it would be a question of minutes of hours. They ...

Low end, over priced!

This place is a joke.. a bad joke. From the "gym" that is outside with rusty equipment, to the "luxurious" rooms, that look straight out of the neighborhood condo complex, I was/am extremely disappointed. The pricing for this "resort" is wayyyyyyy off. It should be a $150 a night hotel. While the grounds are well ...
My wife and I spent three nights in room 1541 at the Weston Rancho Mirage Hotel & Spa; February 21, 22 & 23. Check in was quick and easy. Unfortunately, it rained almost every day of our stay. Though we didn’t use the pool, it was very inviting. The property is well maintained and pet friendly. Because of the weather, we occasionally ...

Excellent service. Very clean. Beautiful grounds and a great golf course adjacent to the hotel. Very spacious rooms, well furnished. There was nothing not to like. WW San Clemente CA

Excellent service!

We just spent 2 weeks at the resort. The service was some of the best we have ever had, from the maid to the restaraunts to the golf course employees. The manager even checked on us to see if we needed anything. Can't wait to go back! Randy and Candace
We loved the Westin at Mission Hills!! Golf for the hubby and pool/day spa for the wife. Rooms were very luxurious and upscale, a grill on the balcony and fireplace in the living room and bedroom. Include a spa tub in the bathroom and the heavenly beds and there is no reason to even leave the room. The Mission Hills/Palm Springs areas offers ...

Beautiful grounds - terrible service!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/07
Our company held a seminar at the Westin Mission Hills resort and booked 20+ rooms for our guests. What a mistake! We had problems with everything from basic rooming requests to broken items in rooms to food ordered for events that was not served to lights going out during our event. Customer service was horrendous. We informed the management of our problems but very little was done to make amends. Stay away!!

Lack of information on web site, no telephone # & little interest at check-in desk!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/07
I am attending a conference at the hotel, in a week or two, and could not find a telephone number on their web site to allow me to inquire about the specific room location of the meeting, the layout of the hotel, appropriate parking close to my event and just some general questions about accomodations. I happened to live in the Coachella Valley ...
