I have been staying in "luxury" hotels from Rome to Tokyo and everywhere in between for over 30 years. I have stayed at both the Four Seasons and the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco, and I have NO idea why The Mandarin Oriental is ranked #2. It is, quite simply, my favorite hotel in the world.
