Have stayed there many times. Am bringing my whole family to stay in July to celebrate my 70th birthday. Love the central location, Pacific view, courtyard for lunches & Sunday brunch, visiting the seals on the beach accross the street..........I could go on & on. Love places that when you check-in, ask you your choice of Sun. newspaper. Little things mean alot!!! Maria Miller

Never Eat There On An Empty Stomach
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/21/07
My wife and I waited half an hour for our order to be taken and then waited over an hour and a half. Nothing. Finally, we left because we had to be somewhere else. Beware the rooms
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/22/06
The public areas are quite nice but the rooms are very, very small - we had to turn sideways to walk around the wed - and the decor was terrible. It was like Edith Prickley from SCTV designed them - awful leopard-skin with hideous chandelier and one mirrored wall (no doubt to make the teeny tiny room appear bigger). NO closet space - the tiny ...

It is beautiful and when we told the concierge our dilemna, he got us a wonderful room overlooking the ocean and the staff could not do enough for us. They were all so helpful ...
