We chose the Howard Johnson's in Pacific Grove because we were traveling with teenagers and we wanted them to have a separate room. I am very much impressed with this hotel. The price was exceptional for the room we had. The front desk was really helpful and let us check into our room early and check out late! The room itself was fantastic. It was very clean, roomy, and updated. We also were very lucky as our room had a good view. It was really a good deal. We definitely plan on returning.

I happened to stay here for two nights.The hotel staff were very cordial and caring.The rooms were just good and the amenities were at par with the price.Cleanliness was good.Without much hype this one is a better hotel.I liked the climate and the location of the place .I think it is worth a second visit.
