WORST HOTEL EVER-BAD STAFF, SMELLY ROOMSThe two Mexcian front desk ladies were so arrogant, unfriendly and unproffesional. They must have thought that they were pretty since they worked on Rodeo Drive, but they looked like their attitdude, U-G-L-Y. Nice Decor Great Service Not Luxury(nothing to offer in the Luxe dept)First, let me point out that this is not the ideal luxury hotel because it is fairly small and lack many of the amenities that luxury hotel will have. (Luxe Sunset does.)
However, I will say that the staff are very friendly and helpful. We aren't talking about that phony Hollywood smile you will find throughout LA.

In the Midst of Great ShopsOur daughter put us into this hotel as an anniversary present. It was a perfect location.
Door staff--valet, bellmen and restaurant/bar staff were excellent, very warm and friendly, though the front desk and management staff need to remember better customer service and act more friendly and less snooty.

Wonderful Surprise Hotel!We stayed at the Luxe Hotel On Rodeo Drive and was pleasantly surprised! The room was immaculate, staff friendly and helpful and I really liked the simple modern design and decor. The lobby is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the shoppers but steps away from all the designer boutiques. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, nice bathroom ...2 of 2 Yahoo! You can't get any closer....We stayed here because a friend told us it was close to shopping. Boy were they right!!! My wife and daughters are coach fanatics. The were both pleased to discover when you walk out of the hotel you are facing the coach store. My oldest daughter could even see the store from our room.
