We stayed there twice. The first time was in Feb. of 2007. We loved it. The pool was warm and NOT crowded. the views were wonderful. The next was April of 2008 (Spring Break.) It was like a different place. Rowdy, tons of noisy splashing children. We asked to check out early and they let us which was nice. We found a nice adults only hotel. I would never go back during Spring break.

Tricky pictures

I had to spend one night with my two kids in this hotel. The guy at the front desk gave us two keys for two rooms. We went to the first room and the key didn't work. I had to go down to the front desk and wait another 15 minutes to get another key. To our surprise we were able to open the room to realize it was occupied. I was glad the kids didn't have to see a couple fornicating.
This was not a resort. If you are looking for the Hyatt stay there. They had a great pool with tons of spots to catch rays and a poolside bar. The bar ("The Reef") was totally cool although the price of a Coors Light fluctuated between 2.50 and 3.75 depending on who was bartending. Overall, the grounds were clean and the cleaning staff ...

Cute tiki motel, nothing fancy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/07
We stayed two nights in this hotel in October 2007 for a wedding. I was in a double room with my two small children and several friends were in other rooms. The rooms are really attractive and have been rehabbed to a nice standard, especially the pillow-top beds. I admire the way the owners have taken this 60s motel property and rehabbed it into a ...
My wife and I stayed here. The pool is beautiful. The rooms are all non-smoking. There is a nice lawn area. The rooms aren't much to talk about, but we weren't planning on doing much in the room anyway. The bed was very nice however. The only improvement I could see was if the room was pre-cooled when we arrived. As it turns out we ...

A Tiki Style Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/25/06
At first we thought it might be corny staying at a tiki style hotel, but we really liked it. The rooms are large and nicely done. There is a huge pool with a Hawaiian style bar that serves cocktails and food at the pool and at the pool bar. There is also a nice large grass area where we could get away from the crowd. For the money this place is unbeatable.

Spa was a surreal, tacky experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/03/06
I didn't stay at the resort, so I cannot speak to the quality of the motel. In order to warn others, I am reviewing the spa, where I was "treated" to a 4 1/2 hours of a very bizarre experience, which was nothing like any of the high-end spas I have been to, although the price tag ($460) was certainly in the ballpark with those much ...

I will never return to this MOTEL.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/06
This place was awfull! I will make sure I never return to this so called resort which in reality is just a plain ugly motel. The staff was so uniformative they couldnt even tell me the cross street upon my arrival. Once I had arrived, they gave me a room which was occupied. It was embaracing and they didnt even apologize. The whole place was full ...
