I enjoyed it but I wish I could have stayed longer. I did have have one small problem with how clean the room was. I found a pair of underwear that did not belong to me wedged between the nightstand and the bed! Gross!!

The best thing that I can say about this place is that the staff let us check in early. The location and the room was decent. I was traveling with a pet and was pleased with the pet-friendly website they had including pet sitting, dog bowls, dog cushion, etc; upon arrival they provided nothing. I like this place because they have very nice and clean rooms. The service was great, and I will definetely go back again.

The best feature are the Remodeled rooms. They are clean, comfortable and spacious for the price. The veiw of the mountains from certain rooms are spectacular. This is a great weekend get-away for someone who does not need the Four Seasons to be happy. The staff afforded us the luxury of early check-in and late check-out so we could spend more time at the pool. I will definitely be back.

Although it is not on the scale of the high end resorts, the Caliente Tropics is a fun get away. The bar makes excellent (read as "strong") drinks and you get two free just for staying with them.
I recommend this for couples who need a nearby get away, who don't need the trappings of the large resorts to have a good time.

This place looks nice from the outside and the rooms are decent. However, the staff at the hotel are incompetent. They treat travellers poorly from the minute one checks in.
