when i went on the internet and wanted to make an esarly bird internet reservation as adverticed in the internet it was impossible to get the adverticed retes. when I called the hotel they refused to honor the ad.

The Mikado is the best value in LA. Service, food, decor, convenient parking and huge rooms.

I've no idea what buffed2 means in his/her review. The only cheaper places nearby are a grungy Days Inn and seedy "love motels" that rent by the hour. Great location off major freeways is the only good quality of this Hotel. Rooms, service and building were all avarage. Driving a 2 or 3 miles out of the way would find you a similar accomodation but much less in cost. My suggestion would be to make a left and go to Ventura Blvd. to find a better deal.
