The Tempe Mission Palms does not have adequate parking available and you have to valet your car. Unfortunately the valet wrecked our car and the hotel is refusing to pay for it. Our room was small, and rooms with two beds our double beds not queen (too small for two average sized adults). When we first checked in the room smelled like smoke even though it was listed as a non smoking room, and they did immediately give us a different room.

We stayed at the Mission Palms for 2 nights in mid-March. Not only does it have a great location (downtown Tempe, close to great bars, restaurants, shops, not to mention Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale), it was a beautiful resort with a rooftop pool, outdoor restaurant seating, and great amenities (shuttle service, wireless internet). We loved it here ...

We have stayed at the Tempe Mission Palms before and look forward to our next visit. It is centrally located in downtown Tempe and yet has a resort appeal. The service and food were excellent and the staff gives the impression that they like working there.
We have stayed here 3 times now and it keeps getting better! The rooms are very comfortable and plush with windows that actually open! The courtyard view is gorgeous! The service was great and the breakfast buffet and lunch buffets were excellent! I cant wait to go back in August!
