We stayed in a 1st fl room by the courtyard across from the pool (all pets get ground level rms). We took our 2 Toy Poodles(1 time $25 fee), a sliding door went to the patio so I could take them out when they needed to go potty. They also have a pet relief area where they can potty and grounds help will clean it up)Very convenient. The room was ...

Nice Place to Stay - Don't Eat the Javelina
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/31/07
The Hotel was very nice and clean. The maidservice was prompt and tidy. The pool is picture perfect as well as the orange trees on the grounds. However, don't bother eating at the onsite Javelina Cantina - the service was terrible. We made that mistake more than once. Not only is most of the waitstaff rude and ignorant, we often had to ...

Great Value and Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/07
This is a classic Tucson semi-resort place. We stayed a few weeks back and it was very clean and pleasant. The dining room was just as nice as ever, and the room was newly refurbished. We had called ahead to ask because it seems from the reviews that a couple of years back they were stil remodelling. Its great now, and close to everything. ...

Will come back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/03/06
We have stayed there in the past when attending the USTA National Championships in 1994, 2000, 2003, 2004,& 2005. We wanted to stay in a hotel in the Tucson area that we were familiar with for a short getaway. When I called the hotel, they said they were sold out for the dates we wanted. The reservation staff was able to work us in for our ...

Cancelled my reservation!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/17/06
Because some birthday party bunch decided to stay over - this @#%* hotel cancelled my 2 night reservation! I was hosting a large meeting there with over 40 people attending and this @#$!% hotel cancelled my reservation! Why didn't they say no to some of the stay-overs and let me stay where my meeting was? They offered no help, no directions, ...
I booked a night at this hotel through Priceline to extend my Tucson trip with my girlfriend for an extra night in December 2004. I had attended college in Tucson so I knew the city and the area. The area was adequate, across from Reid Park and near the busy business district along Broadway.
When we checked in, we were sent to a room in the ...

Wonderful stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/30/05
The hotel is in a perfect location to all areas of the city, the room was very clean and the decor was much nicer than I expected for a 3 star hotel. We found a great deal, so it made the stay even better. I would definitely stay there again and remommend it to friends.

Great!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/18/04
We got an excellent rate on Priceline which from the start made it a positive experience. The cookies at the desk and the nice big, clean room were great. The location is excellent- I highly recommend it.

Big Disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/16/04
My stay at the Doubletree at Reid Park in Tucson in March 2004 was a huge disappointment. I had never stayed at a Doubletree before and was looking forward to it, especially since I got a great rate through Priceline.
The first day I checked in the room had a horrible musty odor that I complained about. They said they could not move me ...
