First, I thought I booked a room at the Bear Lodge. When I got there they gave me "suite." Their suites seem to be refurbished apts. - not hotel rooms. Not really a problem, but I was really expecting something nicer. If you decide to book a suite, keep in mind that you may be put in a third floor walkup.

The place was fantastic! We stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom suite with a bath, a small kitchen, living room, and balcony. All very clean.

Plenty of room for walking with all the nature trails, bird observatory and nearby Creamer’s Wildlife Refuge. With the amazing landscaping, just walking around the resort itself is a pleasure. ...
