The room was cold the A/C-Heater fan runs all of the time. The First room I was in had a whole in the comforter on the bed. I had to be moved to another room because the wireless internet didn't work. I was advised by the front dest to call tech support the guy was very helpful. Internet costs $9.95 per 24 hour period. I made the mistake of ...
It started out great, I guess the old saying "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't" really does apply! We thought we had a great deal on a Jr. Suite for only 135 dollars a night. What they failed to mention in there ads are:
1. The soothing sound of the toilet being flushed all night from the room above ours. Sounds ...
FIRST THING WE HAD STARE US IN THE EYE DRIVING INTO THE PARKING LOT WAS WE WOULD PAY $10.00 TO STAY IN THE PARKING AREA. THEN TO BE CHARGED $207.00 WHICH DIDN'T INCLUDE THE PARKING. ROOM WAS VERY DATED AND VERY NOSIY WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING THAT YOU COULD NOT TURN OFF. STREET NOISE WAS HORRIBLE AS THE HOTEL IS NOT SOUND PROOF. THE BATHROOM ...
This has got to be one of the WORST hotels I have ever stayed in. Please do not be fooled by the WONDERFUL lobby display. It took almost 30 minutes to check me in. I believe she was the manager on duty (short dark hair lady) was RUDE! She acted as if my checking in AFTER 3 PM was an inconvenience to her. So Brittany (WHO IS WONDERFUL) checked me ...
Our stay at the Anchorage Sheraton was, to say the least, a bit disappointning. Overall, the hotel was okay but their attention to detail and customer service left a little to be desired. We stayed from June 16 to June 22, 2007 for a national conference. We sent the payment for our rooms a month in advance but it was inadvertently returned to us ...
It had a great central location and nice clean rooms. The staff was very helpful with information and shuttle service. The view from our room was amazing...if it were clearer we would have seen Mt. Mckinley.

All of the personnel were very accommodating. They went out of their way to assist us in every way. We have been to this property three times in the past, and we would not even consider staying anywhere else.
We stayed with Sheraton in Anchorage, in Club rooms, on 5 & 15 Sept 2005 & had two of the worst nights' sleep we experienced in the 3.5 weeks of our Alaska trip. Underwhelming!

As a so-called luxury property this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. We reserved a Club Room Floor king room which was not available when we checked. Instead we were given a Starwood Room on a lower floor with access to the Club level. The room was large but EXTREMELY noisy. This hotel has no soundproofing whatsoever and is located between two very noisy streets. Desk staff is indifferent at best. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

Great Service, Great Night's Sleep!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/04
I checked into this beautiful hotel in downtown Anchorage, and was greeted by a very friendly staff. I received my room key and proceeded to my room. When I entered, my room had apparently never been cleaned from the previous guest and the TV was still on! I went back to the desk, and the clerk behind the counter immediately apologized for the ...
