the room was good inside but noisy due to people arriving by the coach load from cruise tours. the finishes were great and the hot tub wonderful.

but check your bill carefully. every visit to the restaurant was overcharged, and the staff were nonchalant almost to the point of rudeness.

1st class facility with 2nd class staffing. Other than the Concierge and the ski staff, this place needs a lot more trained staff. The restaurants were slow and houskeeping always missed doing something. The location is spectacular and the town of Girdwood has great restaurants.

We went to this hotel for 3 days on our honeymoon in July. The View is unbelieveable and the hotel is gorgeous. There is so much to do there, and just a wonderful experience for anyone. Taking the Tram to the top of the mountain and enjoying the view from the restaraunt is a must. Highly recommend this Hotel especially for couples!

My first night in Alaska, long flight, giddy with anticipation, not having a clue as to what was going to be. Here I am at this extraordinary hotel! Restaurant in the sky, heated towel racks, a lobby that is overwhelming & a staff that could not be more accommodating. Welcome to Alaska, it started my adventure into utopia in such a positive way which continued & continued & continued. It does not get any better than this!

What a beautiful, clean hotel. The atmosphere is out of a Currier and Ives scene. Too bad the service doesn't match. How could one not love this place? Set amidst the beauty of Alaska, in either Winter or Summer, the Alyeska Hotel is one classy resort hotel. In winter it's a skier's wonderland and in summer it's paradise found. The brilliant food at the restaurant at the top of the tram fills both your stomach and your soul with the incredible views of The Last Frontier.

Alyeska Resort is in an amazing location. The skiing is wonderful in the winter, and during the summer, their are plenty of trails to hike on.
It is located in the town of Girdwood, a charming little town with some great places to eat. I would strongly recommend eating at Jack Sprat's or the Bake Shop when you are in Girdwood.
