We did have a great view. The room was very pleasant. The service was horrible and a disappointment for the Intercontinental. It really ruined the experience.
stayed there quite a few times (in fact, again this friday). the location is ideal in the middle between st catharine and the old part of town, the rooms are large, kingsized beds perfect, nice bathrooms, cool flatscreen tv's, the pool is just right if u enjoy a swim. don't park in its parking lot, their allocated spaces are at the very ...

great location!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/25/07
We had a very great stay here. This place was just a short walk away from Old City and down town shopping on St. Rue Cathrine and much much more. The staff was helpful when needed. We definitely felt that we got the best value for our money from priceline. Only thing was we couldn't find the check-in desk upon arrival (it's up the ...

Internet $14/day!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/08/07
Any hotel that would charge $14/day for business travellers doesn't deserve my business. They also charges us for mini bar we didn't use. Even Notel 6 and Super 8 offer free internet in small town USA and Canada
We stayed at this hotel for a last-minute romantic getaway and we were very pleased.
The service at this hotel is excellent. All of the hotel staff, including the reception desk, concierge, housekeeping, bartenders, waiters, and doormen were very friendly, pleasant, and polite. Everyone greets you with a smile and a “bonjour!” when you walk ...

Im still having nightmares
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/21/06
i hated everything, the staff were unhelpful and were always ignoring you and turning up with cold food etc. i would strongly disadvise anyone tot go there unless you would like to waste your money on poor service.
Nice, clean and comfortable room with a great view. Convenient location near downtown, old Montreal, and Chinatown. Parking on site so is a Metro station. Curteous staff. Price is reasonable

pool a plus
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/01/05
I was there in the inexpensive period in January. I loved the view from our room, I liked the bar, staff helped us locate what we needed to locate. The pool is only a lap pool suitable for 1 or 2 or at the most 3 at a time, but since it was lightly used during our time, I made good use of it. Classical music plays in the pool area and dressing ...

Terrible Service, Disgusting Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/05
Stayed at this dump last week. Not worthy of their self-proclaimed world-class status.
Dusty rooms, old sheets. Room was not ready upon check-in, walking into a un-made room is a really nice way to start a vacation!
Service is terrible. We're still in North America folks, lose the attitude. Not to flame stereotypes, but I didn't ...
