Vacation Every yearThis place is a family favorite. We go their every year. My only complaint is that it cost upward of 700 dollars a night. Now most people would see this as a rip off, but the hotel is a must due with children in Maui. The pools are amazing the water elevator cool and the ocean beautiful. My favoriteThis has got to be my favorite hotel we have stayed in our many trips to the Islands of Hawaii. The service was exceptional - we were treated like royalty. It has the best Luau that I have been to - don't miss it - it's worth cost. I highly recommend this hotel.OVERALL

LOVED!!!! We WILL be returning!My husband and I went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We started off in Oahu and stayed at Outrigger Waikiki on The Beach, which was nice but nothing compared to the Grand Wailea.

If I could live here, I would!I've been to Hawaii three times in the past three years. Each time, I HAVE to stay at the Grand Wailea. Our travel agent told us one of her previous clients had stayed there and wasn't just spoiled...she had been ruined to anywhere else. My husband and I concur.

Better then a dream vacation!The Grand Wailea is like no other. Once you go, nothing will compare. We were welcomed with smiling faces and helpful associates for checkin. The art, views and gardens are so beautiful and captivate you as if you were walking through the botanical gardens. We actually got married at The Grand Wailea. MOST AMAZING PLACE EVERWow, what an experience. You know, my wife and I read some of these reviews before we left so our expectations were low. I truly believe that the few bad reviews are upset employees or something. First off, the Hotel is probably the most amazing that we have ever been too. Spa with Cockroach! Poor ManagementTook our own bags out of the car. No help with directions to the restaurant. Unsanitary spa. Force to look up at large cockroach during treatment, repeatedly requested a robe for my modest guest and repeatedly refused, be for warned to wear your own bathing suite or be in an area naked with women with them on, told we were in an exclusive area ...1 of 10 Yahoo! Value - Service vs Price?????Service(poolside/restaurant/bell) was poor due in part to lower staffing(ecomony) and lack of training.
I was amazed that the staff was not engaged - this property is the "crown jewel" of Maui and maybe Hawaii. Very RelaxingMy wife and I stayed here for our 2nd anniversary....the cost for the room and the service is a bit high but we loved every moment and feel that it was worth every dime...
If you need to treat yourself and are willing to pay to be treated right then this is the place for you. I don't know if I would stay anywhere else if I ever get back to Maui....unless I find an even more luxurious place
