My wife and I honeymooned at the Grande Wailea. It was fantastic in everyway. The service was outstanding; the rooms were very clean; the food was marvelous; the pools, lounge chairs, beachfront was all outstanding! Make sure your bring your wallet... The Grande is not the most "economically reasonable" place in the world. However, ...

While the beach was beautiful and the grounds were fantastic I would definitely NOT go back to The Grand Wailea Resort. We travelled over 10 hours to get to the Grand Wailea from Toronto and were not given the room we requested. The first problem was we booked an Oceanview Deleux Room and were given an Oceanview Room. No one at the resort would ...
Wailea was a nice area smelled a little to much like $$$$. I stayed one night on my trip to Halloween in Lahaina. I preferred the Ritz in Kapalua on the North Shore. Yahoo doesn't have a listing for Kapalua

While there are many reviews that state that this is the absolutely best hotel on Maui, there are some things to consider: if you are a semi well-seasoned traveler and have stayed at high-end hotels often, you will not be disappointed by the hotel grounds/design/location, pool, beach or spa. You may, however, be disappointed by the rooms ...

Where do I start...hmmmmm! Food...unbelieveable! Landscape...heavenly! Every room in the entire resort is equally picturesque! Did you say service or did you say royal treatment? You didn't even have to ask, someone was there. And not just one person.....there were several attendants anticipating your neeeds! The hotel has over $30 million ...
The hotel was amazing the gardens the shops and the water park in the back i had so much fun i didnt want to leave the food was awesome and everyone was so friendly i've stayed in hotel where everyone was so nice and they loved there jobs!!I would love to come back if i could afford it!!!
It was a sad day when we left the Grand Wailea. The room at the Napua Tower was excellent. The birds outside the room when the sliding doors were open sounded like a zen recording. I heard it was crowded Easter week but it didn't seem that way because the place is big. I would definitely come back here again. Beautiful place, you can see the ...

I stayed at the grand wailea with my family (4 kids, 3 adults) about a week ago and we were so sorry that we didnt stay at the four seasons which was right next door.
This is completely unexpected for a hotel of this ranking, but there were bedbugs in the room that i stayed in. It was a nice room, too, an ocean view one i think it was called. i ...
It is a long way to Lahaina. It is very expensive. You often can't swim in the ocean because of the rough surf. However, it has the best pools and slides for kids. Beautiful artwork and lovely gardens.

The best ever!

We were blown away by this magnificant hotel when we first saw it. It is absolutely the best hotel we've ever stayed at. Even though it is pricy, it's worth every penny. We'll come back again and again. Actually, the Grand Wailea is so good, we start to doubt if we'll ever be satisfied again in our future stay at other hotels!?
