We liked it's proximity to the freeway entrance.

We arrived to find that our room was not ready. Every day we had to remind the front desk to make up the room, ot ir just didn't get done. We think that the facility is just understaffed.

I loved the town and the fact that we weren't that far from the beach
There was a variety of places to dine out
We took our two grand daughters to Los Angeles for their summer vacation. We decided not to stay directly in Los Angeles and make the drive to Universal Studios (58 miles). It was an excellent choice. Can't wait to go back to Ventura. Hotel was great and I would give it 4 stars

This is very comfortable hotel. It is a great hotel for the price. It is clean and the breakfast is also a plus. The staff is a little grumpy at times but accomadating. The cleaning crew likes to come early and knocks too early. Just make sure to put the sign out do not disturb. Close to everything!

My wife and I just needed a room to crash in for one night as a stop over on the way to our vacation destination. We chose La Quinta for the price and convienient location along our route.

However, this room was huge!!! I mean giant! So much room for your buck. The bathroom was great too, a lot of extra room and a nice full size tub.

The pool was clean, but the jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer. Overall, the place is very average. The good part is it's located within minutes of several nice beaches. The included breakfast was quite adequate and more than I expected.

Convenient from highway. Close to the marina. Clean room on first floor with close-by parking. Nice breakfast.
