If you want to stay within driving distance of wine country but don't want to pay the expensive price tag of area hotels, then this is a very nice hotel about an hour from the heart of napa and sonoma.

The grounds are very well kept, and there is a golf course across the road. There is bus service to and from Oakland and San Francisco Int'l Airports that leaves from the front door several times a day.
