After reading, then re-reading previous comments about the Motel 6 Salinas, it appears some people only need the three S's when traveling: a place to shower, shave, and ... you get the picture.

My review is for the local Salinas PD, who wished Motel 6 would have to post the good and the bad about their motels. I'm helping with posting ...

Well, while racing bikes each month at nearby Toro Park over a 1.5 year period up to early 2008, and staying at the lovely Motel 6, it wasn't until receipt of 9 bedbug bites one night that I finally threw in the towel. Bedbugs - yuck! Itchy as all hell! Big welts!

Of course, all I got was assurances the room was later inspected ...
