we stood for a night. I wasn't impressed at all with the room. It was clean but the decor was old. They have a beautiful garden and a welcoming reception. View from the hotel is very nice too.

We enjoyed a luxurious stay at the Kempinski in Sofia. The security was in evidence, including a police car parked at the end of the block. (Our tour guide says three Bulgarian mafia guys live there.) I didn't mind because the place is top notch.
