Worst vacation of my life!Security was the biggest issue here. The resort was dated, but we knew that going in so that was not an issue. There was a motorcycle gang that has a local chapter in this county and has decided to make this their hot spot. The resort did absolutely nothing to protect the guests. The security is a joke. WONDERFUL PLACE/GREAT LOCATIONWe own 4 weeks at this resort and are going to buy more. I don't know why people are writing bad reviews about Ocean Landing but we have NEVER had a bad experience at Ocean Landing, I don't' have enough time to write all the good things I could say about Ocean Landings.Was this review helpful? Depends on where you stay....I have read many mixed reviews on this resort and it all depends on where you stay at this facility. The location is great only steps from the beach, 2 pool areas make for plenty of room for guest to spread out and relax, pool side snack bar is very convient and reasonable, if you are into tennis or handball great courts, exercise facility is ...Was this review helpful? Old, dirty and unfriendlyThe resort is in a great location. However, the experience at this specific resort was more than disappointing due to the following:

Great beachfront locationWe own 4 weeks oceanfront at Ocean Landings and love every minute there. It,s a nice ''middle class'' resort with everything you need and friendly people. I can't comment on the other rooms but our's ,on the ocean, is exactly what we want. I will never go there againThe rooms are old,dirty and smelly, big disappoiment. I think the rooms are due for major updating and the carpets need to be replaced.

Best deal on the BeachWe own a time share at another location, and this was a property that allowed special rates. Knowing this was a time share resort and not a hotel, we came in with appropriate expectations. Needing to walk a short distance to get clean towels more than made up for the $50/day price. Worst beds everThis could be a decent place, but the awful beds are so bad we had to go buy an airbed. We stayed here through an timeshare exchange. If we would have been paying by the night we would have left. These beds were so hard that the flooring had more padding. These were not just firm beds, I have a firm bed at home, they were just cheap crumby beds.
