The staff was so helpful and friendly, even at midnight and 5 AM. The decor was fun and funky, the rooms and bathrooms clean, and the complimentary outdoor breakfast fantastic (croissants, muffins, pastries, fruit, juice, coffee and tea and real plates and utensils).

This hotel is always lots of fun! It is near Union Square and has a resaraunt and night club on site. Eat, drink, dance and stumble back to your room!
Book early, this place is always busy!

We had booked the Phoenix for a couple nights in early January. Upon seeing the neighborhood, we voiced our concerns to the gentleman at the front desk, and he allowed us to cancel our reservation, even though we were well past their 48-hour notification policy. The hotel itself seemed quite wonderful, despite the shady neighborhood! And Bambuddah (the club/lounge inside) was a gorgeous!
