Not a family hotel

Traveling with a large group, over 100 people. At least half the rooms had problems. Dirty sheets in the hallway at 8:00 pm. In my room, air conditioning didn't work, toilets didn't flush properly. In other rooms, bugs, dirty sheets, numerous issues. The lobby had a dirty smell. Parking lot was not well lit. When we refused to stay ...

This property has been remodelled in Feb 2006 and I stayed there for the week of March 12th - 17th, 2006. I spent many, many years in the hotel business and I could not find fault with anything. It is what it is...a room. It's nothing fancy and the desk service often leaves a good bit to be desired. However, I travel in and out of the city frequently and often need a 'holding area'-someplace to change, rest, and relax between meetings in the area, etc. It is ideally located near the city in a great neighborhood which offers ...

When I booked this room I looked at several things: location, room rate, continental breakfast, room size, refrig, etc. Location to Washington, D.C. was great. Rate was good for the D.C. area. Room was nice size but no refrig, towels heavy odor of clorine, had to call for soap, no shampoo or shower cap furnished. Continental breakfast left lot ...
