This was my first time to Reno. Having grown up in Las Vegas, I thought I knew what to expect. The hotel was much better than I expected, and my wife and 18 mo. old son enjoyed the visit as much as I did. Something for everyone. I will not stay anywhere else on future visits. 5 star quality but did not cost me through the nose. Great experience.. ...

Not a good place to stay.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/24/07
Not only was the hotel on the other end of town away from the strip, the people that worked at the hotel were rude to us. The lodge we stayed at did not even have coffee in the room and was comprable to a motel 6. I also noticed the hotel added a mysterious $3 charge to my credit card. I will never stay there again.

Bed bugs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/08/07
Everything about my stay (om business) was acceptable, except I woke up in the morning with multiple bug bites. Nasty! The room appeared clean, as did the sheets, but the itchy bumps on my chest and shoulders means I won't be going back to the Atlantis any time soon.

As Good As We Had Hoped
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/06/07
We stayed for four nights and the only thing that my wife and I didn't like was the fact there wasn't a fride in the room. Everyone was friendly the room was exceptionaly clean and as far as location, it was nice to be able to get away from the strip when we wanted.
We picked Atlantis for our ski trip only because they have a indoor pool. We did not enjoy the pool so much coz there were so many people in the pool. The best thing about this hotel was the bed was very comfy. The service is terrible. The safe in our room did not work. We called for service, but the service people did not show up until we checked ...

After reading many bad reviews about the Atlantis Casino in Reno, I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay there but we had already booked our vacation so couldn't change. Let me tell all of you of my experience there.I absolutly loved my stay. It was nothing like the other people said. The place is beautiful. Every single person that I came in ...

Great food but gambling is not so fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/06
We are coming to Reno twice a Year. Food and restaurants are pretty good.Gambling is not so Fun. Dealers are not so talkative. They deal fast so its hard to have fun.Air is 50% smoke. After 3 hours spent at table games we felt lack of oxygen real bad.Otherwise its a nice middle size casino so as they all.Good location. Not too many homeless people at table compare to downtown.
We stayed in the motor lodge because they had accomodations for our dog. We also ordered a "smoking" room. We expected with animals and "smoking" we might have a less than clean, substandard accomodations. To our amazement, the room was immaculately clean and well appointed. We had fantastic service from check-in to room ...
We've been staying at Atlantis once or twice a year for over 5 years. Royal Dolphin Tower rooms are newest remodeled rooms but only go to 13th floor. Views are great and furnishings high class. Different elevators go to different type rooms, so always ask if you have a preference. Never stay at Motor Lodge unless you just want inexpensive. ...
