My family and I stayed at the Atlantis this past weekend and had the most horrible experience there. We tried to check in a little after 3:00pm and were told that two of the four rooms were not available due to the cleaning crew. They went ahead and gave us two of the rooms; one of which had a piece of plywood as a window. My sister ...
My husband and I visit Reno twice a year and we decided to go to the Atlantis. Five minutes after I walked into the Casino area and sat down a man asked me for my ID. His attitude when he asked me was very rude. I did not say a word as he stared at everything I was thumbing through in my purse to get my ID. Another man approached and stood in ...
My husband and I are locals and sometimes get comps to stay there during the slot tournments, In early July we took them up on their offer. The room was wonderful and better then we had expected. The food was very good and we just love their Steak House and usually go there for special occasions. I went and had a spa treatment on Monday after ...

How to avoid the motor lodge!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/08
We read reviews of people saying they had booked a room for a 4 star hotel and ended up in the motorlodge. I did a little research and found the motorlodge only offers 2 doubles or a queen bed. There would only be my husband and I, so I put in a call to the hotel directly and requested a King sized bed. When we arrived, we received a room in the ...

Terrible customer service

Along with the others, I was in Reno for a basketball tournament. One of the mothers made the room reservations based on the picture of an Atlantis Motor Lodge room that was on the website. The picture showed a spacious room with a bed, a table, a desk, plenty of lighting and a nice vanity in the bathroom area. When the three girls that were ...
My daughter and I attended our first AAU basketball tournament the weekend of May 3rd & 4th. Reservations were made by one of the moms, the website is very misleading. The motor lodge looks NOTHING like the pictures on your website. After fighting with management we were offered a upgrade for $20. No apology from management, just the ...
Our baskeball team reserved 15 rooms in the Motor Lodge, not knowing it was a dump. The interior was well used and smelled like Lysol and bleach. The beds were well used, pillows were small and flat, and the showers were stained and needed attention. After three hours of intense argument with two managers we were able to "upgrade" for ...
Really enjoyed our stay and we'll be back. We had a problem with our room not being available, but were immediately bumped up to another better room. Rooms are really good sized and clean. Granite and marble in our bathroom. Sheets are fine, but stiff. Comfortable bed. Yes a Hotel/casino of this size should have Free internet. C'mon ...

Going down-hill
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/07
We've been to the Atlantis dozens of times over the past 8 years or so, at first it couldn't be beat. Lately though it seems they are cutting back quite a bit in the food area especially. Much smaller portions and slower service. You make millions off of us in the casino, keep us coming back by making us feel welcome. Don't charge ...

Horrible beds
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/07
The beds in this hotel were so hard it was like sleeping on a board. I have never had such a horrible 2 nights in any hotel. The beds weren't just firm, they were actually painful. My family and myself resorted to taking sleeping pills to actually sleep on these beds. I would never stay here again.
