Very disappointed. The hotel is rundown, needs a major overhaul. Staff are very sullen. No entertainment in the hotel. Definitely NOT 5 star service or 5 star facilities

Best pool and ocean view for relaxation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/13/09
There are so many pools for different age groups of people to play, do exercises, float and swim like a fish in the sea. The pool / ocean view is great. It is such an enclosed paradise without disturbance. Hotel service is alright but not too impressive except those who do the aquatic games with us. At times, I feel discriminated when I would ...

Awesome hotel, Paradise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/07
Hotel was excellent and one of the nicest places we have stayed at. Staff were great and very pleasant. Food in restaurants was good but you can always go into Patong beach for a better deal and cheeper beer. Watch out for the tuk-tuks just outside the hotels ground as they rip you off big time.We got a taxi driver and cut a deal with him and he ...

Beach massage every morning
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/30/06
Spent my favorite vacation in Phuket at the Le Meridian. Originally started at the JW Marriott and was unhappy with the location so moved closer to the action and was fortunate to discover Le Meridian Phuket. Wake up to a beautiful morning and start with a beach massage, relax by the pool or beach and finish the evening off with a great meal at an ...

My Assessment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/06
We paid approximately $200/night which I think is more than what the hotel deserves. The breakfast buffet was also very poor in terms of its variation and quality- Compared to Bangkok hotels-. Thailand is very well known for its wide range of fruits that were not available in the buffet. The good thing about the hotel is that it has a private beach that is kept clean and that offers some ammusement(for a charge).

Thai people are incredibly friendly, personnel is excellent. Beech is on the premises and awesome, restaurants and facilities in the hotel are very good, you don't really need to go any there else. Guy with a small friendly elephant is coming on the beech every day!

A home of dreams
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/05
For the traveler that wants it all and more, you have found the right place. A true 5 star luxury hotel. I stayed for 14 days in 2003 and again in 2004. Each time was wonderful. This romantic hide away nestled inside of a cove that is surrounded by mountain hills, laid wide among a massive pool that pours into the Andaman Sea will provide the ...
