This hotel seems to have purchased a two story motel and added the high-rise hotel to it. We got a great rate for the area, but we were put in the old two story motel. This hotel has a great location overlooking the Falls. We stayed in a Premier suite and it was fantastic. We had a great view of the Horseshoe falls and the American Falls. View of the Fireworks were fantastic. This hotel is with in walking distance of everything. Staff was very helpful. This hotel is not as expensive as the other hotels in the area. This hotel is the closest to the falls. Our room was beautiful, clean, and was recently remodeled. We were only on the 4th floor, but had a great view of the falls. It was a great value for the money! Great service and friendly staff.

The hotel was wonderful and had such a beautiful view. The staff was pleasant, unlike the weather. Hopefully when you go to visit you'll be lucky enough to have sunshine. We enjoyed our stay overall and would definitely book with The Oakes Hotel again.
