I had read the reviews and was really scared to stay here! Its not that bad, certainly not a Hilton or Westin, but our room was clean the air conditioner worked, the bathroom worked. It is an older hotel and the furnishings are not that great, but for the price we were pleased. I will not stay in an unsafe or dirty room, this hotel is okay ...

If you like ants and roaches you would love this place. We moved rooms three times and the last one might have had them we just didn't see them. Needless to say we only stayed there one night, and that was too long. The only thing I liked was it's location to the beach.

Elevator broke twice in the first 24 hours.
Not the best breakfast and it was past the little water park and mini-golf, across the parking lot in a separate building from the guest rooms.

This hotel is a decent, budget-minded establishment. If you're expecting a Crowne Plaza or Waldorf-Astoria type place, then yeah, you may be disappointed. I just spent 3 nights at the Comfort Inn. The walk to the beach in the heat can be avoided by using the free shuttle service. It ran every 10 minutes.
The room was clean and free from any odors. Everyone was very helpful. Only problem was the ice machine was not working on our floor.
I will go back as soon as I have some time off!
