My family and I were on a 10 day vacation and Hilton Head Island was our last stop. The first room they assigned us to was hot and musky smelling. They had a big fan in there drying it out. The next room we went was better...until we got in and shut the door. The couch was dirty and stained. The towels were muddy and dingy. There were cobwebs ...

We stayed here in July 2009, location is great.The place is very out dated and dirty. The rates are not that cheap either.The bathroom was so dirty we did not even want to get in the shower. I have stayed in alot of hotels, motels, and resorts this by far is the worst!

We stayed there last week and even left a day early. The place as my girls called it "flea bag motel" would not stay again if they paid me. Not clean, very much needed upgraded The worse place I have every stayed.

We returned from a stay last week. Wonderful location. Across from the lagoon, about 75 yards from the swimming pool, in an overgrown area was a homeless shelter strewn with beer and wine bottles, how safe is that? The rooms were very clean, nice employees, GREAT Location! Beds were very comfortable, a great place for the family to stay and it is located in one of the nicest areas of the island. VERY safe.

Read some of the other reviews before we stayed there and was a little concerned, so I had to post my own....had no problems like some of the other ...

we stayed here july 4 2008 a few days ago and it was awful. first the balcony door did not lock at all so anyone could open your door when reported to the front desk they said they would get someone to look at it and on this very day right now it is still not fixed.We have a small child how unsafe was that.This is the oldest and worst hotel ...

this place sucked the service was awful the bed was BROKEN, smelled awful i found a used condom in the air conditioning unit while trying to turn the heat down because it was around 100 degrees in my room, the sheets on the bed smelled like someone shuved them in the toilet to wash them, there were "stains" near the air conditioning unit whitch i will not mention the tv looked so old the remote was near broken

Everything about this hotel screamed outdated. The hotel lobby was in a seperate location from the actual hotel so if you wanted to eat the continental breakfast, then you had to walk over a block and 1/2. Well my husband and I stayed there the summer of '06 and it truly is not that bad. At least not as bad as everyone else is saying. The distant walks that you take (i.e. to breakfast, beach, shops) is very nice and relaxing. At least you have shade to walk under, unlike, say Myrtle Beach.
