Seedy, run down untidy and dirty. Stairs so steep you had to go down backwards. Broken lightbulbs, no ventilation in the bathroom. Would have been OK in a one star hotel or youth hostel, but paid 3 star prices. The breakfast was very nice, but fully self-service, you had to make your own tea or coffee.
