Not sure about the prior complaints... maybe things have improved since then? We had two rooms, and thought it was great. We stayed in early January, so the price was fair. Rooms 401 and 403 have king beds, and were plenty spacious!!! (Caution: they are the split type king = seam down the middle). Nice Continetal breakfast buffet, RIGHT downtown, clean, nice appointments, staff we encountered was very friendly.

Will stay again.....

The Hotel has a beauiful look but it seems to be the one thing going for it.The staff were unhappy and not very pleasent.I over heard them complaining about managment and there wages. This is not what we wanted to hear. The rooms were small and not to clean. Found old tissues under the bed. Overall I would tell others to stay away. There are many nice bed and breakfasts in town and I'm sure the stay would be much more enjoyable.

Children were running "wild" in the hallways, the crew handling the breakfast was late in setting up so we had to leave without breakfast.
