We enjoyed our trip to the Outer Banks, The location of this motel is great. We were right on the beach and near the Wright Brothers Memorial. Our room was cleaned daily and all staff was very nice. No complaints I would return there again.

If you get room 217 be careful. The toilet is not bolted to the floor. The facility is old and a fire escape plan is almost impossible beyond "jump!". Getting up to our room was a rat maze. My best friend and I recently took a motorcycle trip from Charlotte to Kitty Hawk and then down the entire Outer Banks. We spent one night here during our trip. There aren't many motels on the Outer Banks so pickings are slim. This hotel offered a fair value and clean rooms. I had stayed here before, back in the early 1990's with my family (wife and son). Easy access to most sights and right on the ocean. I would recommend it.

Our room was only a few steps from the ocean. The actual hotel appears older but our room was very clean, we had all the necessities. Appliances appeared new, immaculate. Service was excellent. Expanded breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel was great, close to main highway and all shopping and restaurants. Excellent experience.

We actually stayed across the street from main motel--and although we were not on the ocean we had ponds and wildlife behind us and the ocean view from the balcony on the front. We had a large suite with living room full kitchen and large bath with additional vanity. This is a real deal.
