The area nearby had little new commercial development. Seems like this part of the beach is old and worn out. In this aging hotel, towels worn, shower drain slow, soap only, TV remote did not work. Maids seen pouring half bottles of shampoo together. Swimming pool had sand, leaves, trash, etc. on bottom- had not been cleaned in very long time. ...

We love the location...right on the beach, the view from our room of the beach, pool and hot tub was lovely...tropical. The room was clean and comfortable,service excellent and the people were more than accomodating. What a great find..we have found our home away from home.

When our children were small; we would stay at this hotel each year that we vacationed at the beach. The hotel is very family friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool and we were always able to get a poolside room so that the kids could come and go on their own. Jungleland was across the street during those years and the kids enjoyed the rides, games ...

We had the jacuzzi suite. What could be wrong with a jacuzzi in your room...not much. Wish it was closer to window so you could get view in tub but still very nice. Love fact that all rooms are oceanfront with nice big balconies. Hotel is old but they take care of it. Great for couples!

I loved the new decking outside by the pool. THe beach shower was nice as well. Also leaving the building is a huge icemaker, you can fill up coolers right as you go out to the beach.

I really enjoyed the pool and the ease of getting on the beach from the room. The owners have put in lots of hard work making this hotel nice. And it shows!! There is one exit going to the pool and the beach. The owners have provided an ice machine next to the exit so you can fill up your coolers on the way out! VERY NICE!! Outdoor showers were nice and so was the new decking they have installed. Place was great!

A very quiet and clean hotel with beautiful oceanfront views (our room was on the 4th floor). Perfect both for families with young children AND couples who seek a fun and relaxing experience right on the ocean. We plan to return in the fall!

This was a beautiful, well-kept ocean-front motel. The staff was kind and helpful. The owner was very friendly as well as the cleaning people. I would recommend this motel for business or leisure. Mr. Yankton was very kind and appreciative we visited. Thanks for a wonderful week!

We spent our first overnight at the beach at the Windjammer Hotel. It was fantastic! It had an ocean front view, private balcony, private beach, large rooms with a fridge, microwave, a super comfortable bed and a jacuzzi! We had everything with in a very short walk from the room! I plan on making this hotel our "go-to" place for our get-a-way weekends and vacations. Excellent time and well worth the money!!
