    We had a fantastic stay at Captain Fairfield...our large corner room had a nice gas fireplace...canopy bed, whirlpool tub...flat panel TV and DVD player -- cd player...perfect combo of modern/historic. The highlight of our stay was the fantastic breakfast...a fresh salsa omlette, cranberry orange scones, and a poached pear...topped off with the best smoothie breakfast drink ever. Highly recommended!

  • Winter wonderland

    This charming bed and breakfast was the perfect place to escape to for a winter getaway. It had just snowed about 6 inches and the town looked beautiful, and we were warmed sitting by the wonderful fire in the living room. Everything about our stay was perfect - the room, the hosts, the breakfasts... we will be back soon.
