If you want luxury, Jersey shore is not for you. This place has small, out dated rooms, noisy AC & cheap towels & linens. Great location & beach but food is average at best but at least its not real pricy. Place is due for a make over.

Ok so the food...was awful. Horrible to say the least. Burned pizza on night one. Day 2, my tacos came with cheese wiz and black olives - missing the refried beans, sour cream, jalapeano peppers, and salsa. The guacamole was grey. The caprase salad literally was a bagged salad 3, yes 3 green/pink tomatoes. We got offending food removed from the bill - NO apology from wait staff. They were awful. Wait staff was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!

Pretty similar to the preceding review...extremely rude bartenders who feel entitled, continuously went to single woman, and literally kissing/fondling a woman behind the bar, rather than serve customers.

I'd never seen anything like it.

We went to the windrift for our honeymoon and it was fantastic. Great location and the staff (front desk) was pretty good too.

Although, the one problem we did have was one of the bar tenders was rude. When my husband and I were at the bar waiting to be served, he kept going to single women instead of us.

We have been vacationing at the Windrift for about 20 years now. The convenience is one of their main draws. On the beach, but I enjoy the pool. Rooms are clean, staff are efficient and cheery. It was a perfect place for a girl weekend. Great view and breakfast was included!!! Hotel staff was accommodating and pleasant. Room was spacious and clean. Too bad we couldn't stay longer.

If you have to stay at a motel/hotel instead of a beach house, this is the place.
