This is a great location, just a few blocks from the boardwalk, very reasonably priced, clean and well maintained. We are satisfied customers that have returned every summer for the past ten years. This is a great place for families that are looking for an affordable and friendly place close to the boardwalk. With the addition of the A/C units and refrigerators in each room, it has even made the stay even more enjoyable.

The price was fair but it's not a great place for family with infants. My family(with a 5 month old baby) got a room on a second floor(too much stairs!) and it was too much of a work bringing stuff in and out.
And most review on this hotel says close to the board walk, but not really... the board is about 10 blocks away.

We have been going to the Luray Manor, Luray Hotel, Fleetwood Hotel, etc. all owned (over the years) by the same wonderful couple. We have enjoyed going there for approximately 33 years. They have always been great to us. It is clean and well maintained. Glad for air conditioning and the small refrigerators!

We went summer before last & are going back next week. Very clean, good AC, nice to have a fridge in the room, nice old Victoran boarding house place. Owners are lovely people, very friendly & don't mind if you come and go at night as long as you're quiet. If you bring your own videos you can watch them in the living room! Easy ...

Good location, walk to the beach. Municipal parking lot across the street with resonable rates. Confortable rooms with air conditioner and refrigerator. Affordable and clean. Owners were very nice and accomodating. I will be going back this year.

you really can't find another place in OC for less $ and w/folks that keep it nice and quiet and try to help you out. There's a nice living room w/color tv w/cable, I felt like I was at home. Its pretty basic if that will keep you content.. its prob. a hundred yr. old building so its a little rustic which I liked though its not falling ...

I am glad that they have room air conditioners now! Walking up all the steps was sometimes a hassel, but it did get our kids motivated!
